P.R. Experience
Let me tell you what I’ve done to date from just the Public Relations side. Remember done properly, P.R. is free.
In 1980 I generated massive local TV coverage for my families business. We were the first niteclub/bar in the country to offer limo service to patrons that had to much to drink on New Years Eve.
(Fact is other companies had done it but we were the first to publicize it and to do it at the same time the drunk driving laws were becoming tougher.)
1985+ I took my small manufacturing business that started in my parents basement (we manufactured martial arts sparring gear) and generated so much publicity the American Gladiators T.V. show knocked on my door asking us to produce gear for their show. We did and the P.R. from the show created opportunities with M.T.V. N.B.C. C.B.S. and a variety of sales all around the world.
In fact you can still see the gear featured at the Universal Studios Museum in Orlando Florida.
1990+ manufactured a small hand bag for teens out of the same material we made karate gear out of and sold it into Nordstroms and every major retailer in Manhattan. All thanks to P.R. in News Day, The N.Y. Daily News, The San Francisco Examiner, Norwich Bulletin, New London Day, Womans Wear Daily... I could go on but I think you get the picture.
That turned into product seen on Courtney Cox (Friends) Shakera, No Doubt, Laila Ali (Muhammad Alis daughter).
Even Ron Artist (Chicago Bulls) Tom Arnold (Roseanne Fame) and Sharon Osbourne (Ozzies wife) .
